Is Love alone sufficient to run a married life?
45I do not believe that love is enough to run a marriage. A marriage to me, is based on so many different things.
What about the romantic connection? What about the physcial part of it? Marriage is made up of so many different parts that LOVE just isn't one of them. Yes, Love is the answer to alot of things but to marriage it takes alot more.
The holding hands and the whispers of I love you in your ear. What about writing a note and leaving it for your significant other to see. How about drawing up a warm bath with a room filled with candles or a rose left on a pillow. How about just watching TV together.
Yes, Love is VERY imporant in a marriage but in order to get there you need to accomplish so much more. Remember the butterflies going through your stomach as you would hear their voice or see their smile. When you have a connection like that then Love is the Answer.

I think love is the foundation for marriage. Thru love we except each others faults and not judge the whole person based on these faults. Thru constant communication only can a relationship between a husband and a wife, or child and parent stay alive. Love above all does conquer all. You see my mother is bipolar and she struggles everyday. Because I love her I have taken the time to find out about the disorder. I am learning not to judge her by her behavior. I wait untill she is stable and soak those moments in.

What about being able to work well together in a partnership, the ability to make decisions together, and work together as a team even when you disagree individually? A marriage is a lot more hard work and compromise than holding hands and taking bubble baths, but those loving things we do for one another are definitely what makes all that toil worthwhile!
